I am a Data-Driven Impact Humanist with over twenty years of experience navigating the complex intersections of higher education, technical operations, and community advocacy. My work is built on the belief that organizational clarity and human equity are not mutually exclusive—they are interdependent.
As a scholar-practitioner, I leverage a transdisciplinary lens—blending psychology, neuroscience, and media studies—to create dynamic, adaptive spaces where people and systems can thrive in unison.

The Work: From Staccato to Impact
Throughout my career, I have served as a bridge between the technical and the human. From my current role with the City of Rochester's Police Accountability Board as Interim Director of Policy and Oversight, where I facilitate the relationship between social systems and social change, to my time as Director of Systems Optimization at the University of Rochester, where I facilitated the relationship between HR systems and IT data governance, to my time as Chief Impact Officer for the United Way, I have focused on one thing: Alignment.
I help leaders move away from organizational "staccato"—the friction caused by disjointed programs and misaligned data—toward a clear, intentional strategy that drives measurable results. Whether I am re-engineering a volunteer committee into a strategic cabinet or designing an equity-driven impact fund, my process is always grounded in evidence and empathy.
The Heart: Keeping the Family Whole
Beyond the boardroom, my research and community work focus on the "wholeness" of the Black family. Through my research agenda, "Keeping the Family Whole," I utilize the biopsychosocial model to explore how storytelling, media, and social determinants of health shape our lived experiences.
My commitment to this work is not just theoretical; it is local and lived. As the President of the Rochester (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, I am dedicated to the cultural reinvestment of the Greater Rochester community. Whether organizing the Umoja Karamu food giveaway or fostering artistic wellness through Ballet Afrikana, I believe that "looking back to move forward" is the key to our collective evolution.

I hold a PhD in Transformative Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and I remain a fervent believer in building solutions-oriented partnerships that maximize opportunities for systemic change.
